My understanding:
I always listened to the pastors’ preaching about the topic of the return of the Lord Jesus with other brothers and sisters. The pastors always reminded us that God’s words are all in the Bible and there is no God’s word outside the Bible. If we listen to the sermon which is outside the Bible, we must be very careful about if it is the heresy. At that time, I found this made sense. Later, some brothers and sisters said to me the Lord has already returned expressing new words. I immediately remembered what the pastors said and then I rejected, but those brothers and sisters kept visiting me, patiently sharing with me the true meaning of the verse, “And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.” (John 21:25) I just suddenly understood that at the time when Jesus came on earth to do the work, His word was not entirely recorded in the Bible. That means that what the pastors said about outside the Bible there is no God’s word, that is not the fact. I can’t hold on to my viewpoint and reject the Lord outside the door.
